Dear Reader,
Before we go any further let me ask you right up front to please set aside any pre-conceived ideas that you may have regarding meditation.
The reason for this request is that unfortunately many pe
ople are misled into believing that meditation is somehow related to Buddhism or some other eastern religion.
While meditation is a basic tool used by those who practice Buddhism, it is just that. . .a tool. And, it is used by many people of all different faiths. Why is that? Because meditation gets results. That pretty much says it all.
There are different types of meditation practices, but for our purposes we are here to discuss “mindfulness meditation.” Mindfulness meditation directs the focus of our complete attention on what is happening at the moment.
It doesn’t mean that you will master it the first time it is used. Remember that all good things come to those who wait – as long as they work while they wait. In other words, you can be, do and have whatever you choose if you are willing to put in the effort.
